Sorry that I haven’t been around these days, but I have been trying to get ready for our big block party tomorrow. It should be a fun party, but it seems like there were a hundred little things that I needed to do yesterday and today to be ready. It has been cool to see our church come together and do the work that was needed to pull this thing off.
We went and passed out fliers today to the people in our neighborhood. The focus of this party is to let our community know that we care about them. We have a bunch of hamburgers and hotdogs (I hope it is enough) that we are giving away for free. Our praise band is going to play, but pretty much we are going to just hang out and meet with our neighbors it should be fun.
