Alright I hate to say it, but I believe that this will be the last few weeks of the live Nailscars.com blog. The benefits for my own ego (I love writing what I am feeling) and to you guys (the fellow youth workers out there) isn’t worth the pitfalls. When this was just a place where I could come and express my heart and the struggles of ministry to other people who experienced the same thing then it was a wonderful thing. But lately too many people have come across this who are people in my life. I can’t continue to write what I am honestly feeling because I don’t know who will be reading each post. I don’t want to edit myself so instead I believe I will have to put this away for a while. Maybe in the future I can come back in a different place.

This is a wierd coincidence, Gary Lamb is saying the same type of thing on his blog. Transparency is painful not only for you but for those you might talk about and the situations. I encourage you to keep blogging and while finding a happy medium like a private journal to write things that you migth not want to share with the whole world.
Shane, I would hate to see this blog go. You have given me a lot of encouragement as a youth leader. You have a great passion for the kids and it shows! Is there anyway you could set it up like a password site? Where you had to register?
I understand your concerns (I just set up a blog myself) but I hate to see you go!
