I was tired last night so I didn’t write about my trip to the movies, but I went to see Kung Fu Hustle. It has a whole lot of violence, but most of it is very cartoony. As a kid who used to love renting old Bruce Lee movies I have to say that I loved the way this movie poked fun at them. There was one scene that I actually laughed at until I hurt. It was silly slapstick type stuff, but it was always something I didn’t expect.
All in all it isn’t a very high art type of movie. It is more 3 stooges than anything else, but it is a fun movie to laugh at for a while and aside from some major violence and a guy who won’t pull his pants up it is relatively clean.
